Quality Optics is an independent, family-owned, full-service optical laboratory, providing ECP’s with high-quality lenses and frames since 1981.

Located in Orchard Park, New York, Quality Optics is a provider and distributor of all the major optical lens brands on the market today, as well as IN-VISION, our own in-house brand of premium digital lenses. Lens Finishing

From simple edging and mounting to intricate drill and notch mounts, edging complex bevels, and high base curve jobs, our finishing department delivers high accuracy with an artisan touch.

Uncut Lenses

At Quality Optics, our in-house finishing capability for uncut lenses is an important factor in our competitive pricing. For those who prefer to finish lenses themselves, let us be your broker for all of your uncut lenses. Our goal is to give you the best quality at the fairest price. We will do everything we can to find you the best price with quickest turnaround available.

Lens Surfacing

Our lens surfacing lab focuses on generating, fining and polishing lenses to the highest of standards. Quality Optics can fulfill all of your lens surfacing needs in a timely and efficient manner, as we have been surfacing lenses for more than Eighteen years.

Polarized Lenses

Polarized lenses not only reduce glare—they make images appear sharper and clearer, increasing visual clarity and comfort. Available for prescription and non-prescription sunglasses, polarized lenses can be worn indoors by light-sensitive people, including post-cataract surgery patients and those continually exposed to bright sunlight through windows.

Transitions

They adjust from clear indoors to dark outdoors. But it’s not just about light or dark—it’s about everything in between. We can supply Transitions lenses, including Transitions Signature GEN 8, Transitions XTRActive, and Transitions Vantage. No matter where you are or what situation you’re in, Transitions lenses adapt to the perfect shade so you see with just the right amount of light.

Mirrors & Custom Tinting

In a world of custom requests, we are prepared to handle just about any mirror or tinting orders you might throw our way. We can provide mirror coatings in a variety of colors to satisfy your patients’ needs. We can also custom tint your lenses in a variety of ways, from solid to double gradients. A/R Coatings

Our anti-reflective coating and tinting offerings allow you to go the extra mile for your patients—providing them with the highest quality lenses and the custom features they want. We can supply your practice with all the premium anti-reflective coatings that are available on the market today. We carry our own in-house premium coating—Carbonite HD—which provides unsurpassed cleanability, scratch protection, and durability. Specially formulated for today’s high-tech digitally fabricated spectacle lenses, Carbonite HD eliminates unwanted front and back lens surface reflections. Carbonite HD also provides outstanding contrast so that every detail looks crisper and sharper—ensuring clear, comfortable vision.

We also provide NRhythm, which reflects harmful blue light and UV light away from the eye while allowing beneficial blue light to pass through the lens. It protects the eyes from harmful HEV light by reducing backside reflection and also reduces scatter and glare for better vision and clarity. NRhythm improves comfort and reduces eye fatigue, headaches, and blurred vision associated with digital eye strain.
